Indus Water Treaty was signed on 19th September 1960 between Pakistan and India in Karachi, Pakistan.
This treaty was signed by President of Pakistan Ayub Khan and Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru.
This treaty was water distribution treaty of Six Major Rivers.
India will control the water of Beas, Ravi and Sutlej.
Pakistan will control the water of Indus, Chenab and Jhelum.
اے ہمارے رب ! ہمیں ہدایت دینے کے بعد ہمارے دل ٹیڑھے نہ کر نا اور ہمیں اپنے پاس سے رحمت عطا فرما، یقیناً تو ہی بہت بڑی عطا دینے والا ہے (سورہ العمران آیت نمبر 8)
