Postpartum Hemorrhages are also called PPH.
There are two types of Postpartum Hemorrhages which are:
Primary Postpartum Hemorrhage
Primary postpartum hemorrhage is heavy bleeding that happens within the first 24 hours after giving birth. It can be dangerous if not treated quickly.
Secondary Postpartum Hemorrhage
Secondary postpartum hemorrhage is heavy bleeding that happens more than 24 hours but within 6 weeks after giving birth. It can be serious and needs medical attention.
