There are two types of Earthquake waves, which are:
P Waves
P Waves travel fastest and arrive before Earthquake. P Waves travel fastest in Solid, Liquid and Gases.
S Waves
S Waves arrives after P Waves and generally in slow speed as compare to P Waves. S Waves travels in Solids only.
