There are imposed three Martial Law and one Emergency till now.
First Martial Law was imposed by Iskandar Mirza on 7th October 1958.
Second Martial Law was imposed by Yahiya Khan on 25th March1969.
Third Martial Law was imposed by Zia Ul Haq on 5th July 1977.
General Pervaiz Musharraf imposed Emergency on 12th October 1999.

The Federal Shariat Court was established under Chapter 3A of Constitution of Pakistan 1973.
The Federal Shariat Court was established on 26th May 1980 through the 8th amendment in Constitution of Pakistan 1973.
This court was established by the President Order.
This court consist of Eight Judges including Chief Justice of this court.
This court decision is considered as final decision and cannot be appealed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
