ماحول / فضا / ہو ا میں آکسیجن کی نارمل مقدار 21 فیصد ہوتی ہے۔
اگر ماحول میں آکسیجن کم ہونا شروع ہو جائے تو متاثرہ شخص مختلف جسمانی علامات کے بعد موت کا شکار ہو سکتا ہے۔

اگر آکسیجن لیول 6 فیصد سے 8 فیصد رہ جائے گا تومتاثرہ شخص کوما میں جا سکتا ہے یا مریض کی موت بھی واقع ہو سکتی ہے۔
اگر آکسیجن لیول 4 فیصد سے 6 فیصد ہے تو متاثرہ شخص کی موت واقع ہو جائے گی۔
